Final Order Entered: 1. The rates proposed by Jackson Energy are denied. 2. The rates set forth in Appendix B to this Order are approved for services rendered by Jackson Energy on and after the date of service of this Order. 3. Within 20 days of the date of service of this Order, Jackson Energy shall file with the Commission, using the Commission’s electronic Tariff Filing System, new tariff sheets setting forth the rates and charges approved herein and reflecting its effective data and that it was authorized by this Order. 4. This case is closed and removed from the Commission’s docket. |

Order Entered: 1. Jackson Energy’s motion to establish effective dates for proposed tariffs is denied. 2. Jackson Energy may implement its proposed rates, subject to refund, on or after March 1, 2025. 3. Pursuant to KRS 278.190(2), Jackson Energy shall maintain its records in such manner as will allow it, the Commission, or any customer to determine the amounts to be refunded, and to whom, in the event a refund is ordered upon final resolution of this matter. 4. Within 20 days of placing its proposed rates into effect, Jackson Energy shall, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, file its revised tariffs setting out the rates authorized in this Order and reflecting that they were approved pursuant to this Order. |

Order Entered: 1. Jackson Energy's motion for deviation from the requirements of 807 KAR 5:078, Section 2(1) is granted. 2. Jackson Energy's application for an alternative rate adjustment for electric cooperatives pursuant to 807 KAR 5:078 is accepted for filing as of the date of this Order. 3. The 75-day review period established in 807 KAR 5:078 shall begin as of the issuance date of this Order. 4. The procedural schedule set forth in the Appendix attached to this Order shall be followed. 5. Jackson Energy’s 2022 and 2023 Annual Reports are incorporated by reference into the record of this proceeding. 6. Jackson Energy shall respond to all requests for information propounded by Commission Staff, whether identified on the procedural schedule or otherwise, as provided in those requests. 7. Any party filing a paper with the Commission shall file an electronic copy in accordance with the electronic filing procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8. Electronic documents shall be in portable document format (PDF), shall be searchable, and shall be appropriately bookmarked. The Commission directs the parties to the Commission’s July 22, 2021 Order in Case No. 2020-000856 regarding filings with the Commission. |
