Final Order Entered: 1. The rates and charges in Appendix A, attached hereto, are fair, just, and reasonable for Columbia Gas for service rendered on and after the first billing cycle for November 2018. 2. The rates and charges in Appendix B, attached hereto, are fair, just, and reasonable for Columbia Gas for service rendered on and after the first billing cycle for May 2019. 3. Within 20 days of the date of this Order, Columbia Gas shall file with the Commission, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, its revised tariffs as set forth in this Order reflecting that they were approved subject to true-up adjustments in a GCA filing in July 2019 for the Fit liability and excess ADIT stub amounts pursuant to this Order. 4. Columbia Gas shall file a revised Tax Act Adjustment Factor reflecting the true-up amounts relating to the FIT Liability and Excess ADIT pass backs with the July 2019 GCA filing. 5. This case is closed and removed from the Commission's docket. |

Order Entered: 1. Columbia's motion for confidential protection for its response to Staff's Third Request, Item 1, Attachment B is granted. 2. The material set forth in the attachments to Columbia's response to Staff's Third Request, Item 1, Attachment B shall not be placed in the public record or made available for public inspection for an indefinite period, or until further Orders of this Commission. 3. Use of the material in question in any Commission proceeding shall be in compliance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 13(9). 4. Columbia shall inform the Commission if the material in question becomes publicly available or no longer qualifies for confidential treatment. 5. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect the material granted confidential treatment by this Order and the period during which the material has been granted confidential treatment has not run, then Columbia shall have 20 days from receipt of written notice of the request to demonstrate that the material still falls within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. If Columbia is unable to make such demonstration, the requested material shall be made available for inspection. Otherwise, the Commission shall deny the request for inspection. |

Order Entered: 1. Columbia is authorized to place into effect the interim rates as set forth in the tariff sheets attached to the Lai Testimony for service rendered on and after May 1, 2018. 2. Within 20 days of the date of entry of this Order, Columbia Gas shall file with the Commission, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, revised tariffs reflecting the rates and charges set forth in the tariff sheets attached to the Lai Testimony, designating those rates and charges as interim and subject to future adjustment. 3. The revenue from these interim rates shall be collected subject to future adjustment as ordered by the Commission. 4. Columbia shall file by September 1, 2018, revised Tax Act Adjustment Factors reflecting the tax expense savings from January 1, 2018, through April 30, 2018, and an actual or estimate of the annual reduction due to the excess deferred accumulated taxes to be effective with the first billing cycle of October 2018. 5. The procedural schedule issued on February 26, 2018, is suspended until further Order by the Commission. |

Order Entered: 1. This case is opened to continue the investigation initiated in Case No. 2017-00481 regarding the impacts of the federal corporate tax rate reduction on the rates of Columbia Gas. 2. The record in Case No. 2017-00481 is incorporated by reference. 3. Columbia Gas and the Attorney General are made parties to this case and, pursuant to 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8(9), within seven days of entry of this Order, each shall file a written statement, with a copy to parties of record, that certifies that it, or its authorized agent, possesses the facilities to receive electronic transmissions and sets forth the electronic mail address to which all electronic notices and messages related to this proceeding should be served. 4. If a party objects to the use of electronic filing procedures and the Commission determines that good cause exists to excuse that party from the use of electronic filing procedures, service of documents on that party and by that party shall be made in accordance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 4(8). 5. Should documents of any kind be filed with the Commission in the course of this proceeding, the documents shall also be served on all parties of record. A party filing a paper containing personal information shall, in accordance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 4(1 0), encrypt or redact the paper so that personal information cannot be read. |
