Order Entered: 1. The Attorney General’s motion to intervene is granted. 2. The Attorney General is entitled to the full rights of a party and shall be served with the Commission’s Orders and with filed testimony, exhibits, pleadings, correspondence, and all other documents submitted by parties after the date of this Order. 3. The Attorney General shall comply with all provisions of the Commission’s regulations, 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8, related to the service and electronic filing of documents. 4. Pursuant to 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8(9), within seven days of service of this Order, the Attorney General shall file a written statement with the Commission that: a. Certifies that it, or its agent, possesses the facilities to receive electronic transmissions; and b. Sets forth the electronic mail address to which all electronic notices and messages related to this proceeding shall be served. |

Order Entered: 1. This proceeding should be opened to investigate and address issues relating to nuclear energy, generation, storage, and other related matters. 2. All electricity generating utilities shall be made parties to this case. The utilities may participate jointly upon written notice to the Commission. 3. An informal conference will be scheduled by separate Order. 4. No later than July 11, 2025, utilities that are parties to this proceeding and all other interested persons should file a short list of issues to be discussed at the informal conference. 5. The Commission, no later than August 1, 2025, will issue an agenda for the informal conference. 6. Parties and other participants who plan to attend the informal conference should, no later than August 22, 2025, contact the Commission through its psced@ky.gov email address to indicate whether they will appear in person or by video. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that: 1. This proceeding is opened to investigate issues relating to nuclear energy. 2. All electric generating utilities are made parties to this proceeding. 3. Any party filing a paper with the Commission shall file an electronic copy in accordance with the electronic filing procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8. Electronic documents shall be in portable document format (PDF), shall be searchable, and shall be appropriately bookmarked. |
