Final Order Entered: 1. Columbia Kentucky’s proposed SMRP rates are denied. 2. The rates and charges as set forth in the Appendix are approved as fair, just and reasonable rates for Columbia Kentucky, and these rates and charges are approved for service on and after January 1, 2025. 3. Within 20 days of the date of this Order, Columbia Kentucky shall file with the Commission, using the Commission’s electronic Tariff Filing System, new tariff sheets setting forth the rates, charges, and modifications approved or as required herein and reflecting their effective date and that they were authorized by this Order. 4. Within 60 days of the date of service of this Order, Columbia Kentucky shall refund to its customers all amounts collected for service rendered from January 1, 2025, through the date of entry of this Order that are in excess of the rates set forth in the Appendix attached to this Order. 5. Within 75 days of the date of service of this Order, Columbia Kentucky shall submit a written report to the Commission in which it describes its efforts to refund all monies collected in excess of the rates that are set forth in the Appendix to this Order. 6. The Commission reserves its right to initiate an investigation to determine whether Columbia Kentucky reasonably refunded all monies collected in excess of the rates that are set forth in the Appendix to this Order should the Commission deem it necessary.

Order Entered: 1. Columbia Kentucky’s proposed SMRP rates are suspended for one day, up to and including January 1, 2025. 2. The procedural schedule set forth in the Appendix to this Order shall be followed. 3. Columbia Kentucky shall respond to all requests for information propounded by Commission Staff, whether identified on the procedural schedule or otherwise, as provided in those requests. 4. Any party filing a paper with the Commission shall file an electronic copy in accordance with the electronic filing procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8. Electronic documents shall be in portable document format (PDF), shall be searchable, and shall be appropriately bookmarked. The Commission directs the parties to the Commission’s July 22, 2021 Order in Case No. 2020-00085¹ regarding filings with the Commission.
