Kentucky-American’s request for a rehearing to adjust the timing of its future QIP filings, beginning with QIP 6, so that it can maximize the efficient construction of its QIP projects by eliminating the straddling of QIP years over pipeline construction season is granted. 2. Kentucky-American shall file its QIP application on August 31?? of every year, beginning 2024, to become effective on January 1st of the next year. 3. Kentucky-American shall file its QIP application related to QIP true-up the projected program costs and revenues, no later than March 31st following the end of each 12-month QIP period, with the actuals for the same period. 4. For the QIP true-up filing due on or before March 31, 2025, the balancing adjustment true-up to the QIP shall become effective on July 1st, 2025. 5. If Kentucky-American does not request a true up for the March 2025 filing, Kentucky-American shall file with the Commission stating the same. 6. The remainder of the May 3, 2024 Order not in conflict with this Order remains in effect. 7. This case is closed and removed from the Commission’s docket. |

Order Entered: 1. Kentucky-American’s petition for rehearing is granted in part and denied in part. 2. Kentucky-American’s request for a rehearing to adjust the timing of its future QIP filings, beginning with QIP 6, so that it can maximize the efficient construction of its QIP projects by eliminating the straddling of QIP years over pipeline construction season is granted for the purposes of obtaining additional information before issuing a decision on this issue. 3. Kentucky-American’s request for a rehearing to adjust the authorized revenues used to determine the approved QIP Rider Charge to reflect the corrections included in Kentucky-American’s Petition for Rehearing in Case No. 2023-00191 is denied. 4. Kentucky-American’s request for a rehearing as to the effective date of the QIP Rider Charges is denied. 5. The procedural schedule set forth in the Appendix to this Order shall be followed. 6. Kentucky-American shall respond to all requests for information propounded by Commission Staff, whether identified on the procedural schedule or otherwise, as provided in those requests. 7. Final Order Entered: 1. The QIP Rider of 0.09 percent proposed by Kentucky-American is denied. 2. The QIP Rider of 6.58 percent as calculated in the Appendix attached is approved. 3. The QIP Rider of 6.58 percent is fair, just and reasonable, and is approved for service rendered on May 3, 2024, through August 31, 2024. 4. Kentucky-American shall file its QIP 5 30 days from the date of service of this Order. 5. Kentucky-American shall maintain and, in all future QIP filings, file records of projected and actual costs in sufficient detail so that the amount and percent resulting from pavement restoration is clearly designated. 6. Within 20 days of the date of this Order, Kentucky-American shall, using the Commission’s electronic Tariff Filing System, file its revised tariffs setting out the rates authorized in this Order and the revised QIP Rider and reflecting they were approved pursuant to this Order, and stating that Kentucky-American’s QIP rate base in any forecasted period will be calculated in a manner consistent with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 16(6)(c). 7. This case is now closed and removed from the Commission’s docket. |

Order Entered: 1. This proceeding is established to investigate the reasonableness of the proposed tariff. 2. Kentucky-American’s proposed tariff is suspended for five months from October 28, 2023, up to and including March 27, 2024. 3. The procedural schedule set forth in the Appendix to this Order shall be followed. 4. Any party filing a paper with the Commission shall file an electronic copy in accordance with the electronic filing procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8. Electronic documents shall be in portable document format (PDF), shall be searchable, and shall be appropriately bookmarked.
