Order Entered: 1 . Kentucky Power's motion for confidential protection for its responses to the requests for information contained in the Appendix to the Commission's Order dated August 30, 2017, is granted. 2. The materials requested to be held confidential regarding Item 19 shall not be placed in the public record or made available for public inspection for a five-year period from the date of this Order, or until further Orders of this Commission; and the materials regarding Item 26 shall be held confidential for an indefinite period, or until further Orders of this Commission. 3. Use of the material in question in any Commission proceeding shall be in compliance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 13(9). 4. Kentucky Power shall inform the Commission if the material in question becomes publicly available or no longer qualifies for confidential treatment. 5. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect the material granted confidential treatment by this Order and the period during which the material has been granted confidential treatment has not expired, Kentucky Power shall have 20 days from receipt of written notice of the request to demonstrate that the material still falls within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. If Kentucky Power is unable to make such demonstration, the requested material shall be made available for inspection. Otherwise, the Commission shall deny the request for inspection.

Order Entered: 1. Kentucky Power Company ("Kentucky Power'') shall appear in Hearing Room 1 of the Commission's offices at 211 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky, on October 16, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, to submit itself to examination on the application of its Fuel Adjustment Clause ("FAC") from November 1, 2016, through April 30, 2017. Neither opening statements nor summaries of pre-filed testimony will be permitted. 2. Not less than seven days and no more than 21 days prior to the scheduled hearing, Kentucky Power shall publish in a newspaper of general circulation in each area in which it serves notice of the purpose, time, place, and date of the scheduled hearing. In addition, the notice of hearing shall include the following statement: ''This hearing will be streamed live and may be viewed on the PSC website, psc.ky.gov." 3. Kentucky Power shall file with the Commission no later than October 13, 2017, proof of publication of its notice for the hearing. 4. Pursuant to KRS 278.360 and 807 KAR 5:001 , Section 9 (9), the record of the formal hearing in this matter shall be by digital video recording. 5. a. The information requested in the Appendix to this Order is due no later than 14 days from the date of this Order.
