Final Order Entered: 1. The amounts billed to customers by KU through its environmental surcharge for the six-month billing period ending October 31, 2025, are approved. 2. Beginning in the second full billing month following the date of this Order, KU shall decrease its jurisdictional environmental revenue requirement by $196,502 for one month. 3. Beginning in the second full billing month following the date of this Order, KU shall use a WACC of 7.18 percent, a tax gross-up factor of 0.7505, an ROE of 9.675 percent and an overall rate of return on capital of 8.81 percent for all its ECR Plans in all future monthly environmental surcharge filings unless directed otherwise by the Commission. 4. This case is closed and removed from the Commission’s docket.

Order Entered: 1. The procedural schedule set forth in Appendix A to this Order shall be followed. 2. On or before the date set forth in the procedural schedule, KU shall file its responses to the information requested in Appendix B attached to this Order. 3. KU shall respond to any additional requests for information propounded by Commission Staff as provided in those requests. 4. KU shall, by the date set forth in Appendix A, file its prepared direct testimony in support of the reasonableness of the application of its environmental surcharge mechanism during the periods under review. 5. Unless otherwise ordered by the Commission, the procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8, related to the service and electronic filing of papers shall be followed in this proceeding. 6. Any party filing a paper with the Commission shall file an electronic copy in accordance with the electronic filing procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8. Electronic documents shall be in portable document format (PDF), shall be searchable, and shall be appropriately bookmarked.
