Assuming that it will not result in wasteful duplication, the purchase of a 61 percent share in the Eastpoint Administrative Office and the corresponding upgrades to the BOC are an ordinary extension in the usual course of business, and a CPCN, pursuant to KRS 278.020(1), is not required for the projects. 4.
