Final Order Entered: 1. LFUCG’s October 17, 2022 motion is granted. 2. The rates proposed by LFUCG are approved. The rates as set forth in the Appendix to this Order are approved for services rendered by LFUCG on and after December 1, 2022. 3. For future filings revising LFUCG’s rates, LFUCG shall provide additional justification other than just CPI-u to support the revisions. 4. Within 20 days of the date of service of this Order, LFUCG shall file with the Commission, using the Commission’s electronic Tariff Filing System, new tariff sheets setting forth the rates and charges approved in this order and reflecting their effective date and that they were authorized by this Order. 5. This case is closed and removed from the Commission’s docket.

This proceeding is established to investigate the reasonableness of LFUCG’s proposed increase to its existing monthly sewer user fee and tap-on connection fees charged to Jessamine-South Elkhorn District. 2. The proposed tariff is suspended for five months from July 1, 2022, up to and including November 30, 2022. 3. LFUCG shall, by counsel, enter an appearance in this proceeding within seven days of the date of entry of this Order. The entry of appearance shall include the name, address, telephone number, fax number, and electronic mail address of counsel.
