Final Order Entered: 1. Kentucky Power's request to submit this case for a decision on the existing evidence of record without a hearing is granted. 2. Kentucky Power's determination that it had no additional over- or underrecovery for the review period is approved. 3. Kentucky Power shall use a weighted average cost of capital of 6.44 percent, a tax gross-up factor of 1.352116, a return on equity rate of 9.70 percent, and an overall grossed-up return of 7.88 percent in all monthly environmental surcharge filings subsequent to the date of this Order. 4. The environmental surcharge amounts determined by Kentucky Power for the review period June 1, 2018, to December 31 , 2018, are just and reasonable. 5. This case is closed and removed from the Commission's docket. |

Order Entered: 1. Unless otherwise ordered by the Commission, the procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8, related to the service and electronic filing of papers shall be followed in this proceeding. 2. Pursuant to 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8(9), within seven days of entry of this Order, Kentucky Power shall file a written statement, with a copy to parties of record, that it waives any right to service of Commission orders by United States mail and that it or its authorized agent possesses the facilities to receive electronic submissions. 3. Unless a party granted leave to intervene states its objection to the use of electronic filing procedures in a motion for intervention, the party shall: a. Be deemed to have consented to the use of electronic filing procedures and the service of all papers, including Orders of the Commission, by electronic means; and b. Within seven days of the date of an Order of the Commission granting its intervention, file with the Commission a written statement that: (1) It, or its authorized agent, possesses the facilities to receive electronic transmissions; and (2) Sets forth the electronic mail address to which all electronic notices and messages related to this proceeding should be served. |
