Order Entered: 1. This proceeding is initiated to fill the vacancy on Crittenden-Livingston District’s Board of Commissioners that was created by Dennis Fleet’s failure to comply with KRS 74.020(8). 2. Crittenden-Livingston District is made a party to this proceeding and shall enter an appearance, by and through counsel, within 20 days of the date of this Order. 3. Crittenden-Livingston District shall publish, in the newspaper with the largest circulation in the counties, the notice of a vacancy on Crittenden-Livingston’s Board of Commissioners attached as Appendix hereto and supply proof of publication to the Commission within five days of publication. 4. Within 20 days of the date of publication in the newspaper with the largest circulation in the counties, any person who wishes to nominate a candidate to fill the vacancy on the Crittenden-Livingston District Board of Commissioners shall submit to the Commission an electronic copy, with reference to the Case No. 2023-00240, of the proposed candidate’s qualifications, the candidate’s name, address, telephone number, and electronic mailing address. 5. Any party filing a paper with the Commission shall file an electronic copy in accordance with the electronic filing procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8. Electronic documents shall be in portable document format (PDF), shall be searchable, and shall be appropriately bookmarked.
