Kentucky Public Service Commission

1. This case shall be opened for the express purpose of the Commission ruling on Estill District No. 1’s June 29, 2021 Motion to Amend. 2. The Commission’s June 25, 2021 Order shall be amended to include the finding that Estill District No. 1’s request to use the remaining balance of $1,379,030 from the KIA Loan F20-13,13 which was approved by the Commission in Case No. 2021- 00064,14 to finance the proposed equipment purchase and installation should be approved. 3. The Commission’s June 25, 2021 Order shall be amended to include an ordering paragraph that Estill District No. 1’s request to use the remaining balance of $1,379,030 from the KIA Loan F20-13,15 which was approved by the Commission in Case No. 2021-00064,16 to finance the proposed equipment purchase and installation is granted. 4. All other provisions of the Commission’s June 25, 2021 Order that are not in conflict with the terms of this Order shall remain in effect. 5. This case is closed and removed from the Commission’s docket.

Motion to Amend Order

Gerald E. Wuetcher Estill County Water District No. 1

Final Order Entered: 1. Estill District No. 1 is granted a CPCN to construct the proposed project as set forth in the application. 2. Estill District No. 1 shall immediately notify the Commission upon knowledge of any material changes to the project, including, but not limited to, increase in costs and any significant delays, in construction. 3. Any material deviation from the construction approved by this Order shall be undertaken only with the prior approval of the Commission. 4. Estill District No. 1 shall file with the Commission documentation of the total costs of the projects, including the cost of construction and all other capitalized costs (e.g., engineering, legal, administrative, etc.), within 60 days of the date that construction authorized under this CPCN is substantially completed. Construction costs shall be classified into appropriate plant accounts in accordance with the Uniform System of Accounts for water utilities prescribed by the Commission. 5. Estill District No. 1 shall file a copy of the “as-built” drawings and a certified statement that the construction has been satisfactorily completed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications within 60 days of the substantial completion of the construction certificated herein. 6. This case is closed and removed from the Commission’s docket.
