Order Entered: 1. Duke Kentucky's May 15, 2015 petition for confidential protection is granted. 2. The designated materials shall not be placed in the public record or made available for public inspection for ten years, or until further Orders of this Commission. 3. Use of the designated materials in any Commission proceeding shall be in compliance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 13(9). 4. Duke Kentucky shall inform the Commission if the designated materials become publicly available or no longer qualify for confidential treatment. 5. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect the designated materials granted confidential treatment by this Order and the period during which the materials have been granted confidential treatment has not expired, Duke Kentucky shall have 30 days from receipt of written notice of the request to demonstrate that the materials still fall within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. If Duke Kentucky is unable to make such demonstration, the requested materials shall be made available for inspection. Otherwise, the Commission shall deny the request for inspection. 6. The Commission shall not make the designated materials available for inspection for 30 days following an Order finding that the materials no longer qualify for confidential treatment in order to allow Duke Kentucky to seek a remedy afforded by law.

Order Entered: 1. Movant's motion for confidential protection is hereby granted. 2. The materials for which Movant seeks confidential treatment shall neither be placed in the public record nor made available for public inspection until July 14, 2024, a period of ten years. 3. Use of the materials in question in any Commission proceeding shall comply with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 13(9). 4. Movant shall inform the Commission if the materials in question become publicly available or no longer qualify for confidential treatment. 5. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect materials granted confidential treatment by this Order and the period during which the materials have been granted confidential treatment has not run, the Movant shall have 20 days from receipt of written notice of the request to demonstrate that the materials still fall within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. Duke Energy’s petition for confidential protection is hereby granted and the materials for which Duke Energy seeks confidential treatment shall not be placed in the public record nor made available for public inspection. 2. Use of the materials in question in this proceeding shall be in compliance with 807 KAR 5:007, Section 13(9). 3. Duke Energy shall inform the Commission if the materials in question become publicly available or no longer qualify for confidential treatment. 4. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect materials granted confidential treatment by this Order, the Commission shall notify Duke Energy in writing and direct Duke Energy to demonstrate within 20 days of its receipt of the notice that the materials still fall within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. Order Entered: 1. Duke Kentucky’s report on its natural gas hedging activities for the 2011-2012 heating season is accepted. 2. Duke Kentucky is authorized to continue its natural gas hedging plan through March 31 2015, with the ability to hedge through October 31 2017. 3. Duke Kentucky shall continue to file interim and final reports as required by the Commission in its approvals of Duke’s previous hedging programs. 4. Duke Kentucky shall file no later than February 1, 2015 for further extension of its natural gas hedging plan.
