Final Order Entered: 1. Slick Rock’s request to abandon the provision of natural gas utility service is approved, contingent upon: a. Slick Rock filing with the Commission within 30 days of the date of this Order annual financial reports for the years 2019 and 2020; b. Slick Rock providing within 30 days of the date of this Order written notice to the six residents connected to its pipeline and receiving gas from its well that the Kentucky Public Service Commission no longer regulates the safety of the pipeline system; and c. Slick Rock providing within 30 days of the date of this Order written notice to the six residents connected to its pipeline and receiving gas from its well that Slick Rock is prohibited from charging for gas service unless it applies for and receives prior Commission approval. 2. Slick Rock shall file a copy of the written customer notice within 30 days of the date the notice is provided to the customers. 3. Any documents filed pursuant to ordering paragraphs 1 or 2 shall reference this case number and shall be retained in the post-case correspondence file. 4. This case shall be closed and removed from the Commission's docket.

Order Entered: . 1. The parties shall have 15 days from the date of this Order to move for a formal hearing to be held on Slick Rock’s application. 2. The parties shall have 15 days from the date of this Order to file a brief on Slick Rock’s request to abandon utility operations. 3. If a party moves for a formal hearing, the party shall a hearing identify the issues it wishes to raise at the hearing, the witness or witnesses it intends to present, and an explanation of why a hearing on these issues is necessary. 4. A party that does not file a motion for a formal hearing within 15 days of the date of this Order shall be deemed to have waived any right to a hearing. 5. If neither party moves for the Commission to conduct a formal hearing, this matter shall stand submitted for a decision on the record.

Order Entered: 1. The motion of the Attorney General to intervene is granted. 2. The Attorney General shall be entitled to the full rights of a party and shall be served with the Commission's Orders and with filed testimony, exhibits, pleadings, correspondence, and all other documents submitted by parties after the date of this Order. 3. The Attorney General shall comply with all provisions of the Commission's regulations, 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8, related to the service and electronic filing of documents. 4. Pursuant to 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8(9), within seven days of entry of this Order, the Attorney General shall file a written statement with the Commission that: a. Certifies that it, or its agent, possesses the facilities to receive electronic transmissions; and b. Sets forth the electronic mail address to which all electronic notices and messages related to this proceeding should be served. 5. Staff and the Attorney General shall file any initial data requests on or before October 2, 2020. 6. Slick Rock shall file responses to the data requests on or before October 23, 2020. 7. Pursuant to the Commission s Orders in Case No. 2020-00085, issued March 16, 2020, and March 24, 2020, Slick Rock SHALL NOT FILE the original paper copy of all requested information at this time, but rather shall file original paper copies within 30 days of the lifting of the current state of emergency.

Order Entered: 1. This case is initiated to investigate the request by Slick Rock Gas to cease operating as a jurisdictional gas distribution utility. 2. A telephonic conference call between Mr. Jarrell and Staff shall be held in this matter on September 1, 2020, beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, for the purpose of discussing the issues in this case. Staff will contact all participants to provide the details for joining the conference call. 3. The Executive Director shall serve a copy of this Order upon the Attorney General.
