Order Entered: The rates requested by Rattlesnake Ridge, as shown in Appendix A, are approved for water service rendered on and after the date of this Order. 2. Within 20 days of the date of this Order, Rattlesnake Ridge shall file revised tariff sheets with the Commission, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, containing the rates set forth in Appendix A to this Order. 3. Rattlesnake Ridge shall, for accounting and ratemaking purposes, use the "PSC Approved Service Life" set forth in Appendix B to this Order for the listed classes of assets when calculating and reporting depreciation for all reporting periods after the date of this Order, but shall make no retroactive adjustment to its books to account for the cumulative effect of this change in accounting estimate. 4. Within ten days of issuance of this Order, Rattlesnake Ridge shall advise the Commission in writing whether Rattlesnake Ridge issued bills reflecting the rates requested in its current application prior to issuance of this Order. 5. If Rattlesnake Ridge issued bills reflecting rates requested in its current application prior to issuance of this Order, within ten days of issuance of this Order, Rattlesnake Ridge shall submit a written plan for issuance of refunds for rates collected in excess of the rates in effect prior to issuance of this Order. 6. Any documents filed in the future pursuant to ordering paragraphs 4 and 5 shall reference the case number and shall be retained

Rattlesnake Ridge Water District Acceptance of Findings of Commission Staff Report and Request to Proceed Without a Hearing

NOTICE OF FILING OF COMMISSION STAFF REPORT

Rattlesnake Ridge Water District's Proof of Notification to Customers of Proposed Rate Adjustment per PSC Order dated November 12, 2013

Order Entered: RRWD shall within 30 days of the date of this Order notify its wholesale customers in writing of the proposed adjustment of wholesale service rates and shall file with the Commission proof of such notice. Executive Director 2. RRWD's failure to comply with the terms of this Order shall be grounds for dismissal of its application for rate adjustment.

Order Entered: Unless all parties request that this matter be submitted for decision upon the existing record, a formal hearing in this matter shall be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 10:00 am. Eastern Standard Time, in the Commission's offices at 211 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky. 2. Rattlesnake Ridge Water District shall publish notice of the scheduled hearing in accordance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 9(2)(b), no more than 21 days and no less than seven days before the day of the scheduled hearing. 3. Pursuant to KRS 278.360 and 807 KAR 5:001, Section 9(9)(a), the record of the formal hearing in this matter shall be by videotape. 4. Commission Staff shall prepare a written list of all exhibits presented at the hearing and shall file this list with the Commission with all hearing exhibits and a copy of the video transcript of the hearing. 5. Any request to cancel or postpone this hearing shall be made by motion filed with the Commission at least one week before the hearing is scheduled to commence.

Order Entered: No later than December 16, 2013, Commission Staff shall file with the Commission and serve upon all parties of record a written report containing its findings and recommendations regarding Rattlesnake Ridge’s requested rate adjustment. 2. No later than January 2, 2014, or 17 days after the date of the filing of the Commission Staff Report, whichever occurs earlier, each party of record shall file with the Commission: a. Its written comments on and any objections to the findings and recommendations contained in the Commission Staff Report; b. Any additional evidence for the Commission’s consideration; and c. Written notice as to whether this matter may be submitted for decision based upon the existing record without hearing.
