Final Order Entered: 1. Columbia Kentucky’s application for a declaratory order is granted. 2. Columbia Kentucky does not need to obtain a CPCN, pursuant to KRS 278.020(1)(a), for the purposed IT upgrade project as it is an ordinary extension in the usual course of business. 3. This Order is expressly limited to the IT upgrade project as described in the record of this proceeding. Any material modification to the IT upgrade project scope, funding, or financing may require further Commission approval. 4. Any external debt or equity financing needed, with a term longer than 24 months, in order to complete the IT upgrade project shall be reviewed and approved by the Commission prior to any issuance of external financing, pursuant to KRS 278.300. 5. Columbia Kentucky shall file notice of completion of the IT upgrade project within 30 days of its completion. 6. Any documents filed pursuant to ordering paragraph 5 herein shall reference this case number and shall be retained in the post-case correspondence file for this proceeding. 7. This case is closed and removed from the Commission’s docket.
