Order Entered: 1. LG&E's petition for confidential protection for Response No. 9 and Response No. 25(b) is granted and the information shall not be placed in the public record or made available for public inspection for a period of five years or until further Orders of this Commission. 2. LG&E's petition for confidential protection for Response No. 22 is granted, and the information shall not be placed in the public record or made available until further Orders of this Commission. 3. Use of the material in question in any Commission proceeding shall be in compliance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 13(9). 4. LG&E shall inform the Commission if the material in question becomes publicly available or no longer qualifies for confidential treatment. 5. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect the material granted confidential treatment by this Order and the period during which the material has been granted confidential treatment has not expired, then LG&E shall have 20 days from receipt of written notice of the request to demonstrate that the material still falls within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. If LG&E is unable to make such demonstration, the requested material shall be made available for inspection. Otherwise, the Commission shall deny the request for inspection.

Final Order Entered: 1. The charges and credits applied by LG&E through the FAC for the period from November 1, 2014, through October 31 , 2016, are approved. 2. LG&E's proposed base fuel cost of $.02428 per kWh is approved. 3. LG&E shall reduce its base energy rates by $.00297 per kWh to reflect the re-establishment of base fuel costs. 4. The rates in the Appendix to this Order are approved effective with service rendered on and after September 1, 2017. 5. Beginning with the expense month for September 2017, LG&E shall use a FAC rate based upon a base fuel cost of $.02428 per kWh. 6. Within 20 days of the date of this Order, LG&E shall file, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, its revised tariff sheets with the Commission setting out the rates approved herein and reflecting that they were approved pursuant to this Order.

Order Entered: 1. Louisville Gas and Electric Company ("LG&E") shall appear in Hearing Room 1 of the Commission's offices at 211 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky, on April 18, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, to submit itself to examination on the application of its Fuel Adjustment Clause ("FAC") from November 1, 2014, to October 31, 2016. 2. Not less than seven days nor more than 21 days prior to the scheduled hearing, LG&E shall publish in a newspaper of general circulation in each area in which it provides service notice of the purpose, time, place, and date of the scheduled hearing. 3. LG&E shall file with the Commission no later than April 17, 2017, proof of publication of its notice for the hearing. 4. The Commission adopts the procedural schedule set forth in Appendix A to this Order, which is incorporated by reference herein. 5. a. LG&E shall fi le with the Commission, on or before February 20, 2017, its responses to all requests for information listed in Appendix B.
