Order Entered: 1. KU's petition for confidential protection for its response to Items 9, and 25.b. is granted, and information shall not be placed in public record or made available for public inspection for a period of five years or until further Orders of Commission. 2. KU's petition for confidential protection for its response to Item 22 is granted, and information shall not be placed in public record or made available until further orders of Commission. 3. Use of material in question in any Commission proceeding shall be in compliance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 13(9). 4. KU shall inform Commission if material in question becomes publicly available or no longer qualifies for confidential treatment. 5. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect material granted confidential treatment by this Order and period during which material has been granted confidential treatment has not expired, then KU shall have 20 days from receipt of written notice of the request to demonstrate that the material still falls within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. If KU is unable to make such demonstration, the requested material shall be made available for inspection. Otherwise, the Commission shall deny the request for inspection. 6. The Commission shall not make material available for inspection for 20 days following an Order finding material no longer qualifies for confidential protection in order to allow KU to seek a remedy afforded by law.

Final Order Entered: 1. The charges and credits applied by KU through the FAC for the period from November 1, 2014, through October 31, 2016, are approved. 2. KU's proposed base fuel cost of $.02609 per kWh is approved. 3. KU shall reduce its base energy rates by $.00283 per kWh to reflect the reestablishment of base fuel costs. 4. The rates in the Appendix to this Order are approved effective with service rendered on and after September 1, 2017. 5. Beginning with the expense month for September 2017, KU shall use an FAC rate based upon a base fuel cost of $.02609 per kWh. 6. Within 20 days of the date of this Order, KU shall file, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, its revised tariff sheets with the Commission setting out the rates approved herein and reflecting that they were approved pursuant to this Order.

Order Entered: 1. Kentucky Utilities Company ("KU") shall appear in Hearing Room 1 of the Commission's offices at 211 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky, on April 18, 2017, at 9:00a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, to submit itself to examination on the application of its Fuel Adjustment Clause ("FAC") from November 1, 2014, to October 31, 2016. 2. Not less than seven days nor more than 21 days prior to the scheduled hearing, KU shall publish in a newspaper of general circulation in each area in which it provides service notice of the purpose, time, place, and date of the scheduled hearing. 3. KU shall file with the Commission no later than April 17, 2017, proof of publication of its notice for the hearing. 4. The Commission adopts the procedural schedule set forth in Appendix A to this Order, which is incorporated by reference herein. 5. a. KU shall file with the Commission, on or before February 20, 2017, its responses to all requests for information listed in Appendix B.
